B. Leverkusen wurde am 15. Juni 1904 gegründet. B. Leverkusen ist seit 1979 ununterbrochen in der 1. deutschen Liga. Die größten Erfolge des Vereins war der UEFA-Cup Sieg 1988 und der Gewinn des deutschen Pokals 1993. Des Weiteren standen sie 2002 im CL Finale und wurden 4 mal Vizemeister. Derzeit stehen sie in der Winterpause an erster Position und sind ganze nahe an der ersten deutschen Meisterschaft. Die Spiele trägt B. Leverkusen in der Bayarena aus.
