Der FC Blau-Weiß Linz ist ein Fußballverein aus der österreichischen Stadt Linz. Der Verein wurde 1997 als Nachfolgeverein der Vereine FC Linz und SV Austria Tabak Linz gegründet. Bei BMO ist der FC Blau Weiß Linz seit der Saison 32 vertreten.
Linz ist die Landeshauptstadt von Oberösterreich und mit rd. 198.000 Einwohnern nach Wien und Graz die drittgrößte Stadt und das Zentrum des mit 758.220 Menschen zweitgrößten Ballungsraumes der Republik Österreich. Linz zwar 2009 zusammen mit Vilnius Kulturhauptstadt Europas. Linz war lange Zeit von Industrie geprägt (z.B. Voestalpine AG), bemüht sich aber durch verbesserten Umweltschutz und zahlreiche Initiativen im Kulturbereich um ein neues Image.
