Die 3. Junioren-Bundesliga ist die dritthöchste Spielklasse im deutschen Fußball in der Jugendmannschaften antreten und ist seit Saison 15 im BMO vertreten. In dieser Liga spielen ausschließlich Jugendmannschaften.
Jeder Verein der Liga tritt in Hin- und Rückspielen gegen jeden anderen Verein der 3. Junioren-Bundesliga an. Die drei Mannschaften mit den meisten Punkten aus allen Spielen steigen auf in die 2. Junioren-Bundesliga. Die letzten drei Vereine steigen in die Junioren Regionalliga ab.
Aufsteiger
Aus der 3. Junioren-Bundesliga steigen jede Saison der Drittligameister sowie der Zweit- und Drittplatzierte in die 2. Junioren-Bundesliga auf (in Saison 15 nur Erst- und Zweitplatzierter). Folgende Mannschaften sind bisher (regulär) aufgestiegen:

Absteiger
Die Mannschaften, die am Ende der Saison auf den Plätzen 16 bis 18 stehen, steigen sportlich ab, verlassen de facto jedoch nicht die Liga. Folgende Mannschaften sind bisher (sportlich) abgestiegen:
