Magdeburg ist das BMO-Pendant zum realen Verein 1.FC Magdeburg welcher zur Zeit in der 3. Liga spielt. Bei BMO ist der Verein seit Saison 5 aktiv.

Magdeburg spielt in der 1. Bundesliga und kämpft schier jede Saison gegen den Abstieg. Von Saison 8 bis Saison 15 war Basti am Ruder. Gleich in der ersten Saison seiner Laufbahn stieg er in die 1. Bundesliga auf. Obwohl viele Magdeburg als Absteiger Nummer 1 abgestempelt hatten, konnte er die Klasse halten und sich als feste Größe in Liga 1 etablieren.
