Die Saisonvorbereitung findet nach dem Saisonübergang statt und endet mit dem Saisonstart.
Während der Saisonvorbereitung darf der Kontostand ausnahmsweise negativ sein. Das Konto muss aber bis zum Saisonstart ausgeglichen werden.
Zu Beginn jeder Saisonvorbereitung werden die Verschiebesperren aller Spieler BMO-weit entfernt. Bis zum Start der ersten Trainingswoche erhält kein Spieler eine Verschiebesperre, wenn er zwischen den Kadern verschoben wird.
In der Saisonvorbereitung muss der Kader noch nicht den Regeln entsprechen, spätestens jedoch zum Saisonstart.
Während der Saisonvorbereitung kann man bereits Jugendspieler scouten und Transfers durchführen (wie auch während der Saison bis zum Transferschluss)
