Liedson ist ein portugiesischer Torwart der Stärke 8. Sein reales Vorbild ist Brasilianer und Mittelstürmer bei Sporting Lissabon.

Liedson ist im BMO-Universum ein Eigengewächs des FC Porto. Trotz einer kontinuierlichen Verbesserung seiner Spielstärke musste sich Liedson mit einem Platz auf der Bank begnügen. Hinter Stefan Wessels und Ricardo Almeida war er lange Zeit nur die Nummer 3 im Tor des FC Porto. So kam er in den Saisons 14 bis 17 auch nur zu einigen wenigen Einsätzen in der SuperLiga. Um etwas Spielpraxis zu sammeln, wurde Liedson hin und wieder sogar bei den Amateuren eingesetzt.
